The Time I Did A Storyboard Test For Teen Titans
Soooo, early 2000s I tried out for a storyboard artist gig on the original Teen Titans. I had fun drawing the funny “super D” stuff. I loved FLCL and I love action (well, silly action) I’m glad that I didn’t get the job. drawing human anatomy is HARD! I really loved the beast boy bit. Characters suddenly feeling awkward is one of my favorite emotions to draw. You can tell I was heavily influenced by Dead Leaves for the Robin fight near the end.

Fremergancy Fronfract
Hi everybody! Since season 2 of Wander Over Yonder has started to air, I wanted to share the first episode I boarded and directed for the season. Written by the amazing and hilarious Frank Angones. I felt sooooo lucky to get to board and direct this episode, mainly because I got to draw Hater as stupid as possible.
A little movie
Life modeling
Trying each on others clothes and tattoos
Piggy back.
I thought it would be funny to end the show with Hater not noticing his new ankle tat

Here are some storeroom sketches I did for the episode.
Drunk Hater poses
Some helping/fun day activities I pitched were: Brushing old ladies hair

SPONGE OUT OF WATER
I was lucky enough to work on the new Spongebob movie. I storyboarded a little sequence with Spongebob and Plankton. Most of it ended up on screen! WOO!!! Had a blast drawing these characters. Here are some panels

The Big Job
The Big Job was my the final episode I fully boarded in season 1. I had a blast on this one! Since this would be my last board for the season, I wanted to work extra hard and make this one as polished and funny as I could. I even sort of animated this little freak out.
Unfortunately Wander's freak out had to be cut down for time. I have always been influenced by the Humphrey the Bear nervous scramble, I tried to get it as close as I could. I'm no animator, but I hope I at least caught the essence.

The Birthday Boy
My episode premiered today! I loved this story so much, I begged Craig to let me storyboard as well as direct it. The big musical ending was so much fun to draw. I must have listened to this song 200 times, I just can't get enough of it! The music is by The Two Man Gentleman Band.
Here's the ending with Andy Bean's temp track.

A Post of More Post-its
This all started when a couple of the guys and I started drawing big teethy gummy drawings of the Wander characters and the more we drew the more caricatured the teeth became. I hope Justin, Ray, and Chris will post some of their drawings. Maybe if we wish with all our might it will come true.
